Veritas

This is a small book review of the international bestseller The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo. This amazing novel inspires one to look deep inside to find the personal motives to living life and to embrace it. This book showed a wonderful story of a boy who followed his dreams and eventually lead him to the treasure that he has been searching for all his life. He encountered many obstacles and situations where he never gave up. This crafty piece of art delves into the soul and explains some of the fundamental principles in alchemy and skills in life. The climax of the book took place when the boy spoke the Language of the World and was able to become One with the "hand that wrote all". This book really spoke to my heart because I myself am following my Personal Legend which has caused me to make some drastic life changes in order to accomplish God's Will.

The books has very deep meanings to it that would never get old if you read it over and over again. The book I bought was the hardcover version with beautiful artwork in it. No matter how hard it rains, you have to push forward in what you believe in. Those following their Personal Legends will at first encounter "beginner's luck", but then as they progress on their path...it will become more challenging and difficult. The small biography about the author was very inspirational as well because it showed the many challenges he faced while trying to find his Personal Legend and how he overcame it all. The only way this book could be better was if it was longer (took me about 3 hours to read), but it makes for a nice quick read and I look forward to reading more of his books.

Before you embark on this magical journey you must realize that in today’s world there is becoming more acceptance and realization of the occult forces that are embedded in the world. The very reason you are reading this right now, is not chance on your part but an actual working of a Law in the universe and various other factors. Darwin was certainly an influential scientist who simply observed what had been around us for millions of years. However, he saw the pattern and it became unfolded to him as he was persistent in his work. Humans also go through an evolution to become better than the last of us. We are constantly recycled and renewed in order to obtain that which is most pure. Human evolution is crucial to success in life. However evolution happens on many different levels of being: Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual. The latter being the most divine change. As Hermes Trismegistus wrote in the Emerald Tablet: As Above, So Below. This refers to the mirror of the universe that is present everywhere mirroring the shadow world in the physical and vice versa. The Microcosm is a reflection of the Macrocosm.

In physics there are particles and anti-particles like Electrons and Positrons. They are exactly the same except they have opposite properties. Matter and anti-matter is the same, if the world were made of anti-matter we would call matter the new opposite matter. This is based on perception and what involves us most takes precedence, such as when Astronomers believed in the Geocentric model until Copernicus revealed the light that we orbit the Sun. Based on this perception as well the Sun orbits the Earth in a manner called the Ecliptic. Until we can see the greater truth to understand why such processes take place in order for it to take place we will not understand the greater processes. Likewise, we must understand the true nature of ourselves to understand the world around us. An understanding of this can accelerate human evolution on many scales for the Spiritual Self affects the Mental Mind which affects the Physical Body. The three parts of the Whole are connected in a mirrored fashion to our own selves. Hermes Trismegistus means Thrice the greatest because he was composed of Thoth and Hermes but also because he knew the three parts of the Universe. Hermes in Greek Mythology was a messenger to the Gods and Men. He was cunning, skilled, and knowledgeable. If we relate Hermes to ourselves we see that the Mental Mind is like that of Hermes. For it translates information given from the Spiritual Self to the Physical Body and the Mental Mind acts as the capacitor. However if we elevate the mind the consciousness we can obtain truths far greater than then previously obtained. The medium between the selves becomes more fluid-like which can render information better. Science has yet to reach religious faith, but religious faith has yet to reach the inner workings of science.

Science’s twin sister is Religion. In many ways they are opposites but in more ways they are the same. The Whole Truth gave birth to itself and bisected itself to form the two that form the whole. With the proper keys one can truly raise consciousness to form a sacred marriage between them. By lifting the veil of the flesh will the Eye truly see the Truth behind ordinary processes. We are each on our own path to perfection and many paths are different and each will have to complete in their accord.

I have extensively updated this blog today and now it includes my playlist of songs and a new template that I hope you all enjoy. As you can tell there is a bit of a story that has been associated with this new template. I believe that as we are living in the 21st century the youth of this era are of the new generation of beings. A generation of those who are more intellectually advanced then many before them due to the enormous free information on the Internet. I believe that the Internet is in fact like a physical manifestation of the Akashic Records. It is a truly magnificent creation that provides human interconnectedness unlike the world has ever seen. And I believe if we as a species are to move onwards spiritually, intellectually and physically then this connectivity needs to be properly cultivated. I can say that without the Internet I would not be in the place I am today and most certainly not as educated.

Information is so powerful and I believe with that power comes great responsibility (yes, a quote from Spiderman) and that the youth of this era are part of the new Global human network. The world is just starting to realize the impact of the Internet on our generation and on the way human's interact. Think of it, illumination occurring just by people finding information online and applying it into their lives. And as philosophers, occultists, sorcerers, or whatever your title may be; our job is to help elevate humanity's consciousness. What better way to do that than to utilize the tools that have been provided to us? What better way then to use the Internet to act as a classroom to all the seekers who try and look for it. In a world of almost 7 Billion people, we have to realize that the old way of taking on seekers is just impractical. There is a great calling in the world for esoteric teachers and technology is here to answer the calls. Merge the old with the new, tradition with innovation, create the perfect Son--the greatest teacher.

I haven't posted in a couple days, so I am making a new post so that I can keep up with this blog. Today's topic is the Internet and the new generation of youth. Shocking new statistics based from the protests and fall of the Egyptian government shows that teenagers have been a major influence in the activities of their government. 

Today, I saw a documentary called Bloodline which is a film by Bruce Burgess. This film was really amazing and an eye-opener. Although I have previously believed in the blood-line of Jesus Christ my evidence was really non-existent. And before this film I barely knew anything about the Priory of Sion (other than from the film The DaVinci Code) and I wasn't too sure of it's actual existence. However, I believe that Bruce stumbled upon something that is bigger than he could have ever imagined. The burial site of Mary Magdalene. What fascinated me was the Knight's Templar shroud upon her. This lead me to believe in the rumors of the grand treasure that the Knight's Templar had and the infamous Holy Grail. The Holy Grail being the holy mother (wife) of Jesus.

What I wish that Bruce would have known was that the actual Resurrection of Jesus was symbolic. Hermeticists and Alchemists alike have known this fact for many centuries. Jesus' resurrection was his second birth, his spiritual birth of perfection. Like a phoenix becoming anew after a long life. In a laboratory it is compared to turning Lead into Gold. The base into the perfect.

What I want to research more in this documentary is the actual mentioning of Solomon's Temple. Previously, I had only thought that this temple was Only symbolic. The building of the perfect temple within one's self. Building yourself to become a perfect holy sanctum. However, the clues in his documentary led me to believe that there was more to it than that and mentioned some interesting details that deserve more searching through.

This movie really made me want to join the Priory of Sion along with my pursuance of becoming a Freemason. It is hard for me to share my knowledge of esoteric subjects without getting tongue-tied. I actually find it fascinating that it is hard for me to put into words what I have learned. Almost an untranslatable gnosis. However, by starting this blog I am trying to attempt to break that barrier so that my ideas will not go down unrecorded.

A little change in subject brings me to the much disputed character of Hermes Trismegistus. Notice that this notable figure is composed of the Egyptian god Thoth (pronounced Toth rhymes with "both") and the Greek god Hermes (the messenger to the Gods). These gods have much in common but what is most interesting the the last word: Trismegistus. The exact meaning means Thrice-the-Greatest. Many claim that this is because he was the greatest Priest, Philosopher and King while the Emerald Tablet says that it is because he knows the three parts of the wisdom of the universe. However, if Hermes Trismegistus is supposed to be Thoth and Hermes....then where is the third being? It doesnt make sense that a thrice-greatest figure would only be composed of two individuals. This leads me believe that the third part of him is actually the divine spark--the spark inside which is hidden. Of course there are many possibilities.

Another infamous story that involves three persons that is worth mentioning comes from the bible. And it is actually the story of the Three Wise Men. Notice closely in this story that the wise-men bring gifts to Jesus by following the Light (the rising star....Lucifer) and paying attention to the celestial bodies that govern us. The wise-men brought baby Jesus: Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold. Notice the Alchemical references. Frankincense from a priest, Myrrh from a philosopher and Gold from a King. Hermes Trismegistus mentioned that the three part wisdom of the universe is Alchemy, Astrology and Theurgy. Alchemy for a priest, Astrology for a philosopher and Theurgy for a king. These three parts make up the whole. A triangle is the most stable geometric shape.

 Alchemy is all about making changes within yourself to make a better outside. This includes transmuting situations from bad to good. This includes attaining a higher moral value, which includes helping others, healing others, being unselfish, showing love and compassion everywhere you go, having an unalterable good character under all situations. If we are the shining light, if we set the example for the world....then the world will follow. If we pursue a new system of things, which includes the second-coming of Christ (which this movie explained that it was the revealing of the Truth of Christ and his burial/body...this would be equivalent to the second-coming) then we can accomplish so much more as a whole human race then we have ever before. The Age of Aquarius is upon us. In the Zodiac the Age of Aquarius shows the sign of the water-bearer. But as Alchemists have noted...that container isn't just containing an ordinary liquid...but the Elixir of Immortality, The Philosopher's Gold, Drinkable-Gold, The Drink of the Gods.

This Elixir has the properties upon ingestion that it will raise your spiritual bodies and consciousness to a higher awareness. This elixir also has the power to heal and to perfect any substance it comes into contact with. Creating a perfect person/thing. Isn't that the goal of life? To become perfect. And in this new age, we will accomplish it. So mote it be.

Angels are immortal men. Men are mortal angels.
